Pamela Roach Named New Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau Board Chairman

Arlington, TX- Pamela Roach has been named the new Board of Directors Chairman of the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau. Roach has been a member of the board since 2005 and brings more than 17 years of professional public relations and community problem-solving experience to the position. Roach will oversee all cooperative efforts for the Bureau, including programs such as the highly successful FUN CENTRAL brand.
"I am honored and delighted to be given this tremendous responsibility by Mayor Cluck, especially now during such a critical time for the city of Arlington and the Convention and Visitors Bureau," said Roach, "I look forward to continued work with our highly talented staff and my colleagues on the board of directors."
Since 1997, she has served on numerous Arlington boards, including the City of Arlington Police Department's Citizens Advisory Board, The Metropolitan Classical Ballet Board of Directors, and the Arlington Chamber of Commerce.
She is also President of HopeWorks Consulting, Inc., a four-year old organizational and community development company that serves a growing market of faith-based real estate developers who aim to revitalize distressed neighborhoods throughout the State of Texas.
